In central Hesse, there are regular opportunities to demonstrate natural running sports to the public.
Training together as a team is great fun. However, it might be even more motivating when your efforts pay off not only in health and well-being but also contribute to spreading the idea of “natural running”. Public races turn out to be a great way to show the sports-minded part of society how viable, beautiful and performant running with “less shoe” can be. We prefere road, city or track races - which are numerous in our region. At such events, barefoot running can be even more enjoyable than it is in regular training, as the road surfaces have mostly been cleaned by the race organizers or the communities. Furthermore, the long-term members of our barefoot racing team know these racing routes extremely well by now and can give you hints where special attention is required. You don't have to fear any pressure from our team leaders to perform. If you feel well and the surface is perfect for barefoot running, we will appreciate it if you give everything you've got. But even while racing, your health, safety and aesthetics of movent are always most important.
