In the summer of 2015, the Marburg Running School introduced its barefoot running prize. It is awarded by the Running School's executive team to those who have represented the barefoot running sports to the public in an outstanding way. At first the prize was given the somewhat bulky name "Prize for outstanding contributions to the public perception of barefoot running". Immediately following the first award ceremony on July 27, 2015, the prize was named after the first laureate and has been named "Lisa-Marie-Jasper-Preis" eversince.
